[about]

I build procedural pipelines that turn raw data into shipped content at scale.

I pitched and prototyped Home Tee Hero inside an internal innovation incubator and built its original course-generation process. With a core team of fewer than five, we shipped about 42,000 real-world golf courses (about 750,000 playable holes).

After v1 shipped, I worked with my supervisor and HR to define the company’s first Technical Artist job title, which led to hiring a small team in that role. For v2, that team advanced the pipeline until full-catalog generation went from roughly 90 days to under 3. In parallel I designed and prototyped Enhanced Courses, a Houdini PDG and Python pipeline that generates courses from GIS and LiDAR sources.

Before that: games, VFX and simulation since 2005. Character art and MaxScript tooling on Six Days in Fallujah and Breach, real-time visualization and XR workflows, and simulation assets for government training programs.

In 2025 I co-founded Acrediant, a healthcare SaaS product. I designed the UI in Figma and built the full stack (React 19, TypeScript, Supabase, Stripe, Cloudflare). I’m also building Mapbase, which turns USGS LiDAR into terrain on demand (PDAL, FastAPI).

What I’m good at: Houdini (PDG/TOPs, HDAs, VEX), Python pipeline and tools work, geospatial and LiDAR ingest (PDAL, GDAL, Global Mapper, QGIS), Unreal and Unity, and bridging art, engineering and data teams so pipelines actually get adopted. I’m comfortable moving between DCC pipelines, geospatial data engineering and full-stack product work.
